Wright County Public Health has a free and confidential family planning program. People can access free medical exams, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, birth control methods, condoms, pregnancy tests and education about reproductive health. 5. Who do I call if I have no insurance and need to go to a doctor?

If you or a loved one is having a mental health crisis, call or text 988.

If you or a loved one is having a medical emergency including drug overdose, call 911.

CentraCare Family Health Clinic provides care to everyone, even those without insurance. They also have Community Health Workers who can help people understand the health care system and find community resources. Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid is on-site three times a week to give free legal advice on child custody, housing, public benefits and more. Their specialties include diabetes care, family medicine, OB/GYN services and tobacco treatment. Please visit their webpage for more information.

6. Where can I get a free or low cost mammogram or pap screening?

The Sage program by the Minnesota Department of Health provides free breast and cervical cancer screening plus follow-up services to eligible women. Women should be age 40 or older; uninsured or underinsured; income within our guidelines. Exceptions may be made for younger women with a family history of breast cancer.
