The Wright County Highway Department announced that its annual seal coating projects began yesterday (Monday, May 22) and will run through early-June.
Seal coating projects are done as a preventive maintenance activity to extend the life of pavement that would otherwise need more expensive repairs. All highways will remain open during the seal coating process, typically using a pilot car to lead traffic in the work zone.
