The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, April 22). The are two locations in Wright County to drop off expired or unused prescription drugs – the Bank of Elk River’s Otsego Office (15800 88th St.) and the Citizens State Bank of Waverly’s Montrose Office (145 Nelson Blvd.).
No liquids are accepted. Those dropping off prescription medicine are asked to leave the medication in the original container and black out identifying information. If the original container isn’t available, they’re asked to seal the medication in a plastic bag. Both sites are drive-thru with limited contact.
