A Message from the Wright County License Center:
It’s been more than 10 years since the State of Minnesota stopped printing Driver’s Manuals for the public. Our customers frequently ask if we have any manuals available for studying. Starting Friday, October 14, the License Center now has driver’s manuals available for purchase.
We use a Minnesota company for printing the manuals which supplies many other DMV offices across the state. For those who prefer the physical book versus the free online version to assist in their learning of the Minnesota driving laws, you can now purchase one at our service counter. Class D and Motorcycle manuals are $5 each and the Commercial manual is $10. This fee covers the cost of printing, shipping and sales tax. Additionally, the License Center offers Class D knowledge tests on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment. Motorcycle and Commercial tests can only be administered at State Exam locations in accordance with Minnesota statute. The License Center accepts all forms of payment (cash, check or credit card with an additional service fee). Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
