The Minnesota Senior Linkage Line is conducting its Medicare Open Enrollment starting Saturday, Oct. 16 and running through Wednesday, Dec. 7. Even if you are happy with your Medicare plan, it’s important to review your plan every year to make sure everything you need is still covered because plans can change from year to year.
Some plans are no longer available, while new plans may be an option. Plan premiums and prescription drug coverage may change and you might qualify to receive help to cover Medicare costs.
Contact the Senior Linkage Line at 800-333-2433 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. In-person assistance is available on a limited basis by appointment by calling the 800 number and making an appointment to meet at The Glenn Buffalo, 201 1st St. NE, Buffalo. Hours for the in-person appointments are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on four Wednesdays – Oct. 12, Oct. 26, Nov. 9 and Nov. 23.
The Senior Linkage Line is a free statewide service of the Minnesota Board of Aging in partnership with the Central Minnesota Council on Aging. The Senior Linkage Lines assists older Minnesotans and caregivers to find answers and connect to the services and support they need.
