The Energy Transition Advisory Committee to working on their Energy Transition plan (State Statute 116J.5493) to advise the Governor and Legislature on energy “transition issues, establish transition programs, economic initiatives and transition policy” for known and estimated power plant closures. The advice from Stakeholders on the draft plan is important to them. The goal is to obtain the input from Stakeholders, especially those in the impacted communities and workers of the power plants in Becker, Cohasset, Fergus Falls, Granite Falls, Hoyt Lakes, Monticello, Oak Park Heights, Prairie Island Native American Community, Red Wing, Schroeder Township; and the associated school districts and Counties, however this survey is open to all, to obtain your perspective on the draft plan. The deadline to complete a survey is 4 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022.
