A free all-age event – “Bertram Boo-Tacular” – will be coming to Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park Campground from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park. For businesses, organizations or groups looking to run a treat station can register for a spot at

This is free family event. Kids are encouraged to come in costume and walk around the campground to play games and win prizes in this “trunk or treat” event. The campsites will be decorated and participants can vote for the best-decorated site. When the kids are done, families can warm up by the campground office with warm cider, bonfires and food trucks.
