Wright County Parks & Recreation will be conducting its Ninth Annual Disabled Veterans Waterfowl Hunt the morning of Saturday, Oct. 8 at Robert Ney Memorial Park Reserve followed by a luncheon, dog demonstration and trap shoot hosted by the Hasty-Silver Creek Sportsmen’s Club.
Parks & Rec is taking applications for any disabled veterans that reside in Minnesota. Applications are due by Wednesday, Sept. 14. Eight participants will be selections by lottery from the applications received.
