The Turn, Wright County Adult Drug Court, is pleased to announce the graduation ceremony for participant Shawn Provost. The ceremony will take place at noon Thursday, June 23 at Sturges Park (401 Lake Boulevard S., Buffalo). The keynote speaker will be Virginia Murphrey, Chief Public Defender for the Tenth Judicial District. A reception will follow the ceremony.
The mission of The Turn is to enhance the cost-effectiveness of the county criminal justice system by providing intensive case management, treatment and court supervision for individuals arrested for drug-related offenses. Participants are held to an incredibly high standard of accountability – considerably higher than standard probation - and graduating the program is an achievement that takes up to two years to successfully complete. Graduates have all the tools to lead productive, drug-free and crime-free lives upon completion of the program and Provost is the latest on a growing list of those who have turned their lives around through The Turn.
Wright County would like to acknowledge and congratulate Shawn for his achievement and we look forward to family, friends and well-wishers to join us at the ceremony.
