A message from County Commissioner Mark Daleiden
"I would like to announce that I will not be running for District 3 County Commissioner this year. It’s time for fresh new ideas to keep the County moving forward. I have enjoyed my time as county commissioner and made it a priority to help bring the county’s technology into the 21st Century so we could keep up with the growth of the county and the technological advancements that have become so important to our daily lives.
I announced after my last election in November 2018 that I won’t seek a fourth term in office, which will expire Dec. 31, 2022. I would like to think I have served the people of District 3 and all residents of Wright County to the best of my ability. After 10 years on the county board, I feel it’s time for someone with a new perspective to represent the residents of Otsego, St. Michael and Dayton.
As I have told many new county employees that I meet, 'You are working for the Right County.' It is something I believed before I became commissioner and something I believe even more strongly now."
