The Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Wright County Health & Human Services and MEADA (Mentorship, Education and Drug Awareness) are partnering to host National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Saturday, April 30.
There will be two drive-up locations for the event, which will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – at The Bank of Elk River – Otsego Branch (15800 88th St. in Otsego) and Citizens State Bank of Waverly – Montrose Branch (145 Nelson Boulevard in Montrose). Both drive-thru locations will have limited contact.
No liquids will be accepted. Those bringing prescription drugs for disposal are if to leave the medication in the original container if possible and black out identifying information. If the original container is unavailable, participants are asked to seal the medication in a clear plastic bag.
