Wright County Public Health had some encouraging news with its weekly COVID-19 dashboard, covering the period of April 1-7.
The number of new cases continue to remain at the lowest weekly levels since July 2021. Over the last seven days, there were just 47 new cases reported, six hospitalizations, one case that required a stay in an Intensive Care Unit and no deaths for the fourth straight week.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 36,499 cases in Wright County with 1,483 requiring hospitalization, 253 requiring an ICU stay and 304 deaths.
