[ARCHIVED] Wright County Highway 7 Closure – Howard Lake

Closure Beginning:  Monday, April  18, 2022

Closure Ending: Mid-June

The City of Howard Lake and Wright County are partnering on an important pedestrian safety and pavement preservation project along County Highway 7 in Howard Lake.

The work will require a closure of County Highway 7 from US Hwy. 12 to Imhoff Avenue SW in Howard Lake for about 2 months while the work is being completed. Knife River Corporation of Sauk Rapids is the prime contractor for the work.

The work includes the widening of County Highway 7 to provide for an on-road pedestrian trail and will also provide new pavement of County Highway 7. The work will also include some city utility work, tree removal, minor grading and turf restoration.

There will be a detour route posted beginning Monday, April 18, 2022. Please follow the posted detour route (see map attached).
