Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period of Feb. 25-March 3 and the number of new cases continue to remain low after peaking in January into early February.
There were 162 new confirmed cases over the last seven days. In addition, there were 17 cases that required hospitalization, three cases that required treatment in an Intensive Care Unit and one death. The past week marked a sad milestone with the 300th death in Wright County attributed to COVID. Since the pandemic began, there have been 36,176 confirmed cases in Wright County, 1,452 cases that required hospitalization, 248 the required a stay in an ICU and 300 deaths.
