The National Weather Service is projecting the coldest temperatures of the winter season – and bone-numbing wind chills – for this evening (Jan. 25) heading into Wednesday. Wright County is included in a Winter Weather Warning for tonight (last night and today, Wright County was in a Winter Weather Advisory). Air temperatures are expected to drop to 20 degrees below zero or colder in the overnight with wind chill temperatures of 25 to 40 degrees below zero. At 7 a.m. when adults are going to work and kids are heading to bus stops, the temperatures are expected to be about 15 below zero with wind chills of 30 below zero. If there is good news, before Wednesday is over, temperatures are expected to 25 above zero.
