The Wright County Highway Department has announced that, in advance of the snowfall expected Friday (Jan. 14), the department will be pre-treating county highways and roads throughout the afternoon and into the evening. County Highway Maintenance Superintendent Nate Helgeson is asking drivers to be sure to give the treatment/spreader trucks the room they need to operate. With temperatures expected to remain in the mid-to-high teens overnight, conditions are ideal for the pretreatment solution to be effective when the snow begins early Friday morning.
