The National Weather Service has begun issuing advisories for winter weather coming Wright County’s way on Friday, Jan. 14.
While Wright County is expected to be spared the worst of the storm system – the current track has western and southwestern Minnesota in line for 10-12 inches of snow – Wright County is currently in the zone projected to get 3-4 inches of snow.
Current projections have the snow starting to fall and accumulate in the early morning hours of Friday. This is expected to be about a 12-hour snow event. As the NWS provides updates to the storm track and snowfall projections Friday morning, we will pass along what information we receive.
