The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for much of the state, including Wright County through 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8. Temperatures will not get above zero today and air temperatures in the early morning hours of Friday, Jan. 7 are expected to be 20 to 25 degrees below zero. NWS is recommending that, if you need to be outside during those hours to dress in layers because frostbite and hypothermia can happen very quickly with those temperatures and wind chills, which are expected to be 35 degrees below zero overnight.
