Filing for Township Elections Opens Tuesday, Dec. 28

On Tuesday, Dec. 28, the candidate filing period will open for 15 Wright County township for the March 8 election. The candidate filing will end Tuesday, Jan. 11.

To file for a position, an affidavit of candidacy needs to be submitted to the local town clerk. There is a $2 filing fee. Contact your local township clerk for when and where filings will be accepted.

Here is the list of township offices up for election:

(NOTE: Town Supervisor terms are three years, Town Clerk terms are two years)

Albion – Town Supervisor Seat B, Town Clerk.

Buffalo – Town Supervisor, Town Clerk

Chatham – Town Supervisor Seat B, Town Clerk

Cokato – Town Supervisor, Town Clerk

Corinna – Town Supervisor

Franklin – Town Supervisor

French Lake – Town Supervisor

Maple Lake – Town Supervisor

Marysville – Town Supervisor Seat B

Middleville – Town Supervisor, Town Clerk

Monticello – Town Supervisor Seat A, Town Supervisor Seat B

Rockford – Town Supervisor Seat A

Stockholm – Town Supervisor Seat B, Town Supervisor Seat C, Town Supervisor Seat D*, Town Clerk

Victor – Town Supervisor, Town Supervisor*, Town Clerk
