While the weather for Christmas weekend travel in Minnesota is expected to be good, the same likely won’t be the case tomorrow morning (Tuesday, Dec. 21). Depending on the track of a storm that is going to begin overnight in western Minnesota and likely approach Wright County during the morning commute, snow is expected to accumulate relatively quickly. Under the current track, the Wright County Highway Department is expecting approximately one inch of snow, but if the storm track moves south of its current projection, it could accumulate more. Drivers are being asked to use caution in the morning and give themselves a little extra time to get where they’re going between 6 a.m. and noon.
