Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period of Dec. 3-9. Minnesota has had one of the highest rates of new cases in the country over the last few weeks and Wright County was no exception. There were 879 new cases reported in Wright County, 39 cases that required hospitalization, four cases that required treatment in an Intensive Care Unit and 11 deaths reported. Since the pandemic began, Wright County has seen 27,005 confirmed cases, 1,152 cases that required hospitalization, 220 cases that involved ICU treatment and 237 deaths attributed to COVID.
