Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard. Because there wasn’t a dashboard released last week due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the numbers reflect a two-week period instead of a seven-day accounting.
Over the last two weeks, there were 1,674 new cases reported, 75 cases that required hospitalization, 19 cases that required treatment in an Intensive Care Unit and 29 deaths. The 29 deaths were the highest number of deaths attributed to COVID over a two-week period in Wright County since the pandemic began.
To date, the have been 26,126 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wright County, 1,113 cases that required hospitalization, 216 cases that required an ICU stay and 226 deaths attributed to COVID.
