Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period of Nov. 11-18. Due to the Veterans Day holiday, in which numbers were not reported, this week’s dashboard contains eight days of reporting instead of seven. Minnesota has had one of the highest rates of new cases in the country over the last two weeks and Wright County was no exception. There were 1,130 new cases reported in Wright County – the most cases in one reporting period since late November 2020 . In addition, there were 48 cases that required hospitalization, two cases that required treatment in an Intensive Care Unit and six deaths reported. Since the pandemic began, Wright County has seen 24,452 confirmed cases, 1,038 cases that required hospitalization, 197 cases that involved ICU treatment and 197 deaths attributed to COVID.
