It may seem like camping season is over, but Wright County Parks & Recreation wants outdoors types to know that there is also camping in the fall and winter at two of its most popular parks – Stanley Eddy Park and Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park.
Stanley Eddy Park has free campsites for those willing to brave the elements at their backpack carry-in sites. These sites are open seven days a week all year long. A special use permit is needed and can be found on the Parks & Recreation website (https://www.co.wright.mn.us/132/Parks-Recreation) or by calling (763) 682-7693.
The camper cabins at Bertram Park are open year-round and can be reserved on the Parks & Rec website or calling the Bertram Welcome Center at (763) 295-0409. The smaller camper cabins (which can sleep up to five people) are $55 a day. The larger camper cabins (which can sleep up to six people) are $65 a day to rent.
