A Pair of Prescription Drug Take-Back Days Scheduled Oct. 23

Most people who are prescribed opioids for pain relief after a surgery or injury have unused meds. Make sure they don’t get into the wrong hands. Safely dispose of opioids and other medications at this year’s Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Find more information and other locations in your area at www.meada.net

Over the years, you’ve brought opioids into your home. They helped when you were in pain, and you held onto them just in case. But holding on to opioids puts your family at risk. Safely dispose of opioids and other medications at this year’s Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Find more information and other locations in your area at www.meada.net

Unused medications sit in your cabinets or drawers, putting your loved ones at risk. Dispose of them safely at this year’s Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Find more information and other locations in your area at www.meada.net

Dispose of your unused, unwanted, or expired medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23. Wright County Sheriff’s Office and Wright County Public Health are partnering with the Mentorship, Education, and Drug Awareness Coalition of Wright County to host two sites – one at the Otsego branch of the Bank of Elk River (15800 88th Street) and one at the Montrose branch of Citizens State Bank of Waverly (145 Nelson Boulevard). Both sites are drive-through sites with limited contact. No liquids will be accepted. Those dropping off medication are urged to keep them in the original containers with identifying information blacked out. If the original container is unavailable, people are asked to seal the medication in a plastic bag.
