At its Sept. 28 meeting, the Wright County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution proclaiming the week of Oct. 3-9 National 4-H Week in Wright County.
4-H has long been an empowering source for youth that teaches cooperation, achievement, mentorship and leadership skills. 4-H has always been very strong in Wright County, which includes 19 clubs, more than 600 members and more than 200 adult volunteers.
The week is a time to celebrate and showcase the organization in the community and get the word out about becoming a member of 4-H.
