On Friday, Sept. 3, Wright County Public Health released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard covering the period of Aug. 27-Sept. 2. There were 340 new cases of COVID reported – the most cases in a seven-day period since the last week of April. There were 14 cases that required hospitalization – the most since the second week of May. There were also four cases that required Intensive Care Unit treatment and two more deaths.
Since the pandemic began in Minnesota in March 2020, there have been 17,642 confirmed COVID cases, 751 cases that required hospitalization, 149 that required a stay in an ICU and 159 deaths attributed to COVID.
