Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard and, for the first time since the first week of June, there have been more than 50 new confirmed cases of COVID reported.
There were 146 new cases reported over the last week – the highest weekly total since 154 cases were reported on the June 3 dashboard. Of those, 13 required hospitalization (the most in one week since May 13) and six required a stay in an Intensive Care Unit (the most in one week since May 6). There were no deaths of Wright County residents reported.
Since the first case of the pandemic in Wright County was announced in March 2020, 16,692 cases have been reported in Wright County with 706 hospitalizations, 137 ICU stays and 153 deaths attributed to COVID.
