Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard. The number of new confirmed cases for the week was just 33 – the lowest single-week total since April 2020. Despite having so few cases, there were six cases that required hospitalization, one case that required a stay in an Intensive Care Unit and four more deaths attributed to COVID. Since the first case was reported in Minnesota in March 2020, there have been 16,384 cases involving Wright County residents with 674 hospitalizations, 129 cases that required ICU stays and 148 deaths.
