This afternoon (Feb. 25), The Wright County Sheriff’s Office was pleased to accept a donation of $2,500 from the Wright County Area United Way. The purpose of the donation was to contribute to officer wellness.
Wright County Area United Way Executive Director Melissa Mulder, Board Chair Stephanie Novacek and Board Secretary Olivia Thul were present at the Wright County Justice Center to deliver the donation.
“Mental health is one of our top priorities at the Wright County Area United Way,” Mulder said. A large portion of that is to resource our resources. We are proud to partner with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.”
The Sheriff’s Office and all of Wright County government express our appreciation for the work that Wright County Area United Way performs and for its generous donation.
The Sheriff's Office promotes the wellness of its staff through its wellness program as well as promoting the County Wellness initiative. Some of these funds will be used to purchase some additional exercise equipment for Sheriff's Office staff.
