A reminder to Wright County residents that the Wright County License Bureau will be closed today (Nov. 12) and Friday (Nov. 13) as the Minnesota Department of Public Safety switches over from the failed MNLARS software system to the new MNDRIVE system.
All DMVs/License Bureaus in the state have been shut down to make the software change. The new MNDRIVE software is scheduled to launch at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16 with the reopening of all DMVs/License Bureaus. Residents are asked to be patient over the next couple of weeks as staff acclimates itself to the new system. All employees have been required to take 40 hours or more of simulated training, but, as with any new system, there are likely to be some hurdles to operating the new system when it goes live Monday.
