With less than four weeks remaining until the Nov. 3 election, those interested in voting absentee can access the information they seek about voting absentee by mail and in-person on the front page of the Wright County website (www.co.wright.mn.us) at the top of the links on the left side of the page.
As it pertains to the process of absentee voting by mail, that link includes links to print out an application or apply online, what a voter will receive when the ballot packet is mailed out and a link to track one’s ballot after it has been mailed back or dropped off at a voting location.
The absentee ballot in-person link gives the sites, addresses and phone numbers where someone can complete their ballot in person in the two weeks prior to the election.
As of Friday, Oct. 9, Wright County has received 22,802 requests for an absentee ballot for the general election. For all of the 2016 election period, there were 13,000 absentee ballot requests.
