Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 dashboard for the period ending Thursday, Aug. 13. After five straight weeks of increases in confirmed cases in July, the number of new cases dropped for a second week in a row to bring the county’s total number of confirmed cases to 918 since the pandemic began in Minnesota in March.
The previous five weeks had seen consistent increases in confirmed new cases (43-53-71-88-96). This week’s report includes 71 cases. Which represents the second straight week of dropping case numbers – from 96 in the July 30 report to 87 on Aug. 6 to 71 on Aug. 13.
