Wright County Public Health has released its weekly COVID-19 Dashboard, which has replaced the weekly Surveillance Reports. After four weeks of consistent declines over the previous four weeks, the number of new confirmed cases spiked upward over the last week. The previous week’s total for the period reported Thursday, June 25 had dropped to 19 new cases – the lowest weekly total since the first week of May. However, the current number of cases in Wright County now stands at 452, an increase of 42 cases over the last week. Sadly, there were two more deaths reported over the seven days that were attributed to COVID-19 – bringing the county’s total to five.
