The Wright County Assessor’s Office is scheduled to re-open public counters Wednesday, May 27 and the department has come up with a plan for working with county residents while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
The department is taking virtual appointments by email (Homestead@co.wright.mn.us) or by phone at (763) 682-7367. Virtual meetings will be the priority, but, if a property owner calls to set up a face-to-face appointment, those requests will be honored.
The department has electronic homestead applications that has reduced the lobby traffic at the Assessor’s Office and Assessor Tony Rasmuson envisions that electronic meetings being an added service that will benefit county residents into the future.
“We strive to continue to provide excellent customer service to the property owners of Wright County while protecting the health and wellbeing of the public and our employees,” Rasmuson said.
