County Public Counters Closed, But Departments and Offices Are Still Open

Wright County government has closed public access to window counter service to most areas (exceptions being the Sheriff’s Office, Court Administration and Court Services/Probation), but that doesn’t mean that the Government Center, Human Services Center and Law Enforcement Center are shut down. Employees are working in their offices and departments and plans are being discussed to set up an appointment schedule to accommodate social distancing and the amount of traffic in county buildings at any given time as measures are being taken to restrict the spread of COVID-19.

There will likely be frustration for residents seeking services that they need and expect from the county, but some of those issues can be addressed by calling the individual department to determine how or when a service can be completed, whether on-line, through the mail or through county drop boxes.

These are the phone numbers for all county departments and, if residents have questions concerning a specific service provided by that office or department, they can be reached at these numbers.
