A groundbreaking event was held on Sept. 16 for the Wright County Tactical Training Center (TTC), located south of Buffalo off of CSAH 35.
The TTC is being constructed in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigations to provide a dedicated modern facility for training and operations. The two-story project consists of 20,959 square feet and will provide offices, backup 911 dispatch stations, an emergency operations center, indoor and outdoor firing ranges, a backup data center, and training rooms. The site is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in July of 2020.
Commissioners, members of the FBI, Wright County Sheriff's Office, County staff and representatives from the construction and design companies were on hand to mark the occasion.
