The intersection of County Road 113 (50th Street NE) and Braddock Ave NE in Buffalo Township will be closed beginning Monday, August 5, 2019 for an intersection safety improvement project. The safety project will improve sight distance to the east of Braddock Ave NE by cutting the hill down on County Road (CR) 113 just to the east of the intersection.
The scope of work includes bituminous pavement removal, removal of roadway material, culvert replacement/extensions, placement of aggregate base material, placement of new bituminous pavement material, and turf establishment/erosion control.
The work will be completed with a combination of County Highway staff and contractors hired from our seasonal bid contracts. It is anticipated that the intersection will be closed to traffic for two (2) or three (3) weeks, depending on weather conditions.
There will not be a posted detour route for this closure. Please use alternate routes and allow additional time to safely reach your destination while this intersection is closed.
