Government Center Groundbreaking

  1. A ground-breaking event was held Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 for the new Government Center Building on Braddock Avenue NE in Buffalo. Members of County staff, and representatives from the BKV Group architecture firm and Contegrity Group construction management team gathered to mark the occasion.

The new Government Center building is set to be complete in 2021, a year after the current Justice Center construction project is complete. This new Government Center building will be home to staff currently located in downtown Buffalo and in the former Pamida building on Commercial Drive. Wright County is looking to create a central campus of services for residents, and this building is the next step in that plan.
