October 8, 2018 - CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Work on the Roundabout at the intersection of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 34 and County Road 134 continues, with work this past Saturday to place curb and gutter.
It is anticipated that work will be completed and the intersection opened to traffic by the end of October, weather permitting. Working days have been lost each week due to the rainy weather we've had this fall.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during the inconvenience of having this intersection temporarily closed so that construction can be completed. Please contact our office if you have any questions about this important transportation improvement project.
The Wright County Highway Department is planning construction of an intersection improvement at County Highway 34 and County Road 134 in the City of Buffalo.
The construction improvements will consist of the construction of a modern day roundabout to improve safety and traffic flow through the intersection. The construction project will begin the first week of August, 2018 and it is anticipated that it will be completed by the end of September, 2018, weather permitting.
Fehn Excavating, Inc. of Albertville, MN is the prime contractor that will be doing the work, and a detour route will be posted to direct traffic around the work zone. Please click below for a map of the detour route.
