Family Home Visiting

Wright County Public Health works to promote the health and well-being of pregnant and parenting families. Through family home visiting services, skilled staff members help families raise healthy children by visiting you during pregnancy and the early years of parenting.

The Importance of Home Visiting

A new baby can bring a lot of questions - we are here to help! Our visits focus on supporting women to have healthy pregnancies and positive birth experiences. After baby is born, our visits help promote your child’s health, including providing newborn weight checks, breastfeeding support, parenting and safety tips, and education on how your child is growing, learning, and developing. These services are free of charge and visit times/locations are flexible.
