Effective, July 12th, 2017 the Wright County Recorder’s Office will be accepting transfer documents to be electronically recorded. Please see the attached list of document types allowed.
Effective: Monday, May 22nd, 2017:
The Wright County Recorder’s Office will be accepting Mortgages along with all non-transfer documents to be electronically recorded. We anticipate electronically recording deeds within the next 30-60 days. We will notify submitters when we are ready to e-Record transfer document/deeds.
To e-record in Wright County the documents must be submitted through a Trusted Submitter. Trusted Submitters currently submitting documents for e-recording in Wright County are:

Marriage licenses can be obtained from the Recorder's office located on the 2nd floor at the Wright County Government Center. The application process can be time consuming. Please arrive at the Recorder's office by 4 pm to assure adequate time. If you would like to start the process, you may begin by completing an eMarriage Application at home or you can use the public terminals located in our office. We will print the application when you arrive to apply for the license. Both parties must appear in person to complete the application process.
Effective Monday, March 6th 2017:The following services have moved to our office. We are located on the 2nd Floor of the Wright County Government Center, Recorder Room 210: Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Marriage License Applications, Ordinations and passport photos. Separate checks required for each department: Separate checks payable to the Wright County Auditor Treasurer for deed tax, mortgage registration tax, real estate taxes and Agricultural Conservation Fees submitted with recordings.
