The Parent Support Outreach Program (PSOP) is a program that was developed by the State of Minnesota to keep families out of the child protection system by identifying risk factors for families and providing early intervention.
Qualified Candidates
The PSOP is for families who have at least one child in the home under the age of ten.
The family must qualify for the program by presenting at least 2 of the following risk factors:
- Homelessness
- Mental Health Concerns (Parent or Child)
- Behavioral Concerns
- Chemical Dependency
- Lack of income or financial means (preventing basic needs from being met)
We ask that all agencies fill out and submit the Parent Support Outreach Referral Form
