Prosecution

The County Attorney is the chief prosecutor for crimes that occur within Wright County. The County Attorney has jurisdiction for all juvenile crimes (delinquent acts) and traffic cases that occur within Wright County. The County Attorney also prosecutes all adult criminal and traffic felonies, gross misdemeanors, misdemeanors, and petty misdemeanors that occur within Wright County, except for adult gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor, and petty misdemeanor traffic cases and adult misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor crimes that occur in the cities of Annandale, Buffalo or Howard Lake.

The County Attorney's Office also administers drug forfeiture money, DWI forfeiture money, criminal forfeiture money, and victim/witness money.
