The role of the Community Leadership Team (CLT)
To improve the health and wellbeing of Wright County, the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) team is dedicated to creating a sustainable partnership with local organizations and local government to eliminate health, resources, and access disparities among communities.
While SHIP supports communities in expanding opportunities for active living, health eating, commercial tobacco-free, and helping all people in Minnesota prevent chronic diseases, the Community Leadership Team plays the role of the local voice. Participants will be given space to share their opinions and identify solutions to improve their community. They also help to create sustainable connections within local organizations and communities to eliminate health, resource, and access disparities.
Active recruitment of interested individuals will begin in late 2023! Community Leadership Team members must live in Wright County. The Public Health Task Force currently serves as our acting CLT, if you are interested in applying as a member visit the PHTF page.
