Paving in the surcharge area was completed the week of May 10. The detour signing was removed Friday, May 14 - the roadway is now open to all traffic. Some topsoil shaping and seeding work remains on the side slopes of the roadway and will be completed in the next week or two under traffic. Please be aware of contruction crews working on the project.

The final lift of bituminous surfacing is scheduled to be paved the first part of June. After the paving is finished, the County will place a gravel shoulder along the edge of the paved shoulder. This work will be done under traffic. This will complete all work on this project.
