Archery Range Hasty-Silver Creek Sportsmen's Park
Location: 10917 Duffiled Ave NW, Maple Lake, MN
Open For The Season (4-20-2010) The Hasty-Silver Creek Sportsmen's Club and The Wright County Parks Department operate public archery range on club grounds. The new practice range will be open to the public from ˝ hour after sunrise to ˝ hours before sunset until September 30, 2010. This range is not supervised you are responsible to practice proper range safety for you and others using the range. Youth under the age of 16 should be supervised by an adult at all times The range consists of 10 practice targets (10, 20, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55 yards), the use of broad heads and crossbows are not allowed. The range is located on the South East side of Silver Lake off of County Road 123 (10917 Duffiled Ave NW, Maple Lake, MN)

Beebe Lake Regional Park Picture  Park Map
Location: Six miles east of Buffalo on CSAH 34
This popular park features a swimming beach, a reservable shelter, picnic area, 1.2 miles of hiking trail, a sand volleyball court, horseshoes, modern restrooms, a group camp, a fishing pier, and a creative play area. Clearwater/Pleasant Regional Park Picture  Park Map
Location: One mile north of Annandale off State Hwy 24 and Co. Rd. 39
This park contains 210 acres between Clearwater and Pleasant Lakes, with lakeshore on both. Park land is developed along Pleasant Lake. Features include a reservable shelter, a swimming beach, new playground built in 2005, 2 miles of trails, a picnic area, parking, a fishing pier, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, modern restrooms, 12 holes of disc golf and a public access. Location: Three miles southwest of Cokato off State Hwy 12
This lakeside park of 308 acres has a 49-unit overnight campground with electric hookups and showers. Other features include group camp facilities, picnic area with shelter and toilets, swimming beach, creative play area, 5 miles of ski/hike trails, sanitary dump station, fishing pier, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and boat launch. Fees are charged for camping and boat launch, which are open from early May through September; six month on-site manager, mid-April to mid-October. Marcus Zumbrunnen County Park  Park Map
Location: On CSAH 8, one-half mile south of I-94.
This picnic site with a short one-mile hiking trail is a favorite stopping place for commuters.

Montissippi Regional Park Picture  Park Map
Location: On Mississippi River off CSAH 75, two miles west of Monticello.
This attractive picnic area on the river features 170 acres of hardwoods and pine plantings, a boat launch, 2 miles of paved hiking/ski trails, a DNR fishing pier, and toilets.

Mud Lake County Park
Location: At junction of CSAH 35 and 4, five miles north of Cokato
This wooded picnic area overlooks Mud Lake and includes a boat launch, toilets, and a fishing dock.

Oscar and Anna Johnson County Park
Location: On Dog Lake five miles southwest of Waverly.
This popular spot for picnics features a picnic area, a swimming beach, a boat launch, and toilets.

Otsego Regional Park Picture  Park Map
Location: Off Great River Road (CSAH 39 & Co. Rd. 42) one mile out of Elk River.
Walk through a prairie or land your canoe at this 70-acre park on the Mississippi River which features: a picnic area with two reservable shelters, two miles of paved trails, a play field, a handicap accessible play structure, toilets, a prairie restoration area, a sand volleyball area, and a canoe access. Schroeder Regional Park and Campground Picture  Park Map
Location: Two miles northeast of Annandale off CSAH 39, on the north end of 837-acre Cedar Lake.
This lake-side park features a 50-unit overnight campground with electric hookup and showers, an attractive swimming beach, a creative play area, a hiking trail, picnic grounds with shelter and volleyball court, a boat launch, a fishing pier, a sanitary dump station and modern toilets. Fees are charged for camping, for use of the boat launch, and for reserving the shelter. The park is open early May through September with an on-site manager from mid-April to mid-October. Stirewalt Memorial Park
Location: On the east side of Limestone Lake,three miles south of Hasty; follow the signs off CSAH 8.
This site provides a pleasant picnic area and a fishing platform.

Albright’s Mill County Park
Location: Four miles north of U.S. 12 on CSAH 5; located seven miles downstream of Wildlife Park.
Features of this park include a picnic area, a canoe launch, toilet, and primitive canoe campsite.

Betty T. Mason River Access
Location: Off CSAH 3, one mile south of French Lake
This site offers a canoe access to the North Fork of the Crow River.

Bill Anderson Memorial Park  Park Map
Location: On CSAH 7, four miles north of Howard Lake; seven miles downstream of Albright’s Mill.
This Crow River site offers two canoe campsites accessible by river only, with a picnic area, sliding hill, and canoe access.

Crow Springs County Park
Location: Four miles south of Buffalo off State Hwy. 25; ten miles downstream of Humphrey Arends Park.
Situated among large pines, this park has picnic sites, canoe/boat channel access to river, toilet, and canoe campsite.

Humphrey Arends County Park
Location: Off CSAH 9, two miles north of Waverly.
A scenic canoe access, this park has over one mile of river frontage, a quiet picnic area, a primitive canoe campsite, and an historic memorial.

Riverside County Park
Location: In Hanover, from CSAH 19 take Riverview Road to its end.
This 17-acre park has 1/4 mile of river frontage, a picnic area, a canoe camping site, and toilets.

Wildlife County Park
Location: Four miles north of Cokato, off CSAH 3.
This small river park offers a canoe access, two canoe campsites, and a picnic table.

Robert Ney Memorial Park Reserve Picture  Park Map East  Park Map West
Location: Off CSAH 8, 1-1/2 miles north of Maple Lake.
A combination of marsh and forest occupies 735 acres providing varied wildlife habitat. The site includes a memorial chapel, a picnic area, an access to Lake Mary, 3.5 miles of ski/hike trails, and is home to the Wright County Parks Environmental Education Center. Stanley Eddy Memorial Park Reserve  Park Map North  Park Map South
Location: In French Lake Township along CSAH 2.
This park reserve is made up of three separate units totaling 879 acres with scenic rolling hills, lakes, and marshes. The Northern unit has 4 miles of ski/hike trails, picnic sites, and toilet, while the Southern unit has 3.5 miles of ski/hike trails, picnic sites, and toilets. The Middle Unit has a boat access to Moose Lake. The South and North unit offer horseback riding, and mountain bike riding (non-motorized) from May 15 to November 15. Bikers yield to horses. Carl Johnson County Forest
Location: In western end of county, follow signs off CSAH 35.
Forty acres of mature hardwood timber with several wooded ravines provide a popular short one-mile hiking trail.

Harry Larson County Forest  Park Map
Location: Four miles west of Monticello off Co. Rd. 111. Just North Of Lake Maria State Park
This beautiful hiking spot has 170 acres of rolling terrain dotted with pothole marshes, a mature oak forest with pockets of big tooth aspen, 2 miles of ski/hike trails, toilets, and a small picnic area.

Wayside(s)
Clearwater Wayside
Location: On CSAH 75, one mile north of I-94 in Clearwater.
This 6-acre park with red cedars and oaks overlooks the Clearwater River and has a picnic area and a seasonal restroom.

Dustin Monument
Location: On State Hwy 12 west of Howard Lake.
This historic monument also includes two small picnic shelters and a seasonal restroom.

Fairhaven Mill Historic Wayside
Location: Located in Fairhaven Township off CSAH 2.
This is the site of a historic gristmill and has picnic sites, benches, and access to Mill Pond – a popular fishing spot.

Lake Access(es)
Crawford Lake
Location: Follow signs off State Hwy. 25 south of Buffalo.
Lake access and picnic area are on the south side of the lake.

East Maple Lake
Location: Located on far east end of Maple Lake on CSAH 37.
Concrete ramp, trailer parking and picnic site.

Lake Moses
Location: Located on the east side of Lake Moses.
Concrete ramp and trailer parking.

Limestone Lake
Location: Follow signs off CSAH 8 south of Hasty.
Picnic sites and an earth ramp are located on the north end of the lake.

Little Waverly
Location: Located off CSAH 8 northwest of Waverly.
Boat access and picnic area.

State Park(s) - MN DNR
Lake Maria State Park
Location:
