Wright County State Aid Highway 36 Improvements in Otsego
Posted date:9/21/2009 Updated:12/23/2009

CSAH 36 has been re-opened to traffic as of Monday morning, December 7th, 2009. The 5 tons per axle weight limit was removed December 22 and will be re-posted next spring when spring weight restrictions take affect. The final lift of blacktop will be placed next year (2010), at which time the roadway may be closed for a short period.

This project raised the roadway elevation 3 feet which will reduce the frequency of future road closures due to flooding of the Crow River.
