A. CRIMINAL LAW FAQ
The County Attorney is the chief prosecutor for crimes which occur within Wright County. The County Attorney has jurisdiction for all juvenile crimes (delinquent acts) and traffic cases that occur within Wright County. The County Attorney also prosecutes all adult criminal and traffic felonies, gross misdemeanors, misdemeanors and petty misdemeanors that occur within Wright County. The County Attorney is responsible for all prosecution within the county except adult gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor traffic cases and adult misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor crimes that occur in the cities of Annandale, Buffalo or Howard Lake. The City Attorney for the Cities of Annandale and Buffalo is Randi Setter, 763-682-0622. The City Attorney for the City of Howard Lake is Chuck Paschke, 320-543-3411.
The County Attorney's Office also administers Drug Forfeiture money, DWI Forfeiture money, Criminal Forfeiture money and Victim/Witness money.
