The Wright County Highway Department would like to inform the public of a highway construction project that will begin the first week of August 2018. The project is located at the intersection of County Highway 34 and County Road 134 in Buffalo.
The construction improvements will consist of the construction of a modern day roundabout to improve safety and traffic flow through the intersection. It is anticipated that the construction work will last until the end of September, weather permitting.
Fehn Excavating, Inc. of Albertville is the prime contractor that will be doing the work along with some sub-contractors that they have under contract for different aspects of the work. You may have noticed that some private utility relocation work (gas, electric, cable, etc.) has been occurring already off of the roadway.
The intersection will be closed to traffic to facilitate the work getting completed in as short as time as possible. A signed detour route will be posted to direct traffic around the work zone (click on the link below to see the detour map).
Please follow the signed detour route that is posted and adjust your driving schedule accordingly. We appreciate your cooperation to ensure the safety of both the traveling public and the construction workers.
If you have any questions about this project, please contact our Highway Department Office at 763-682-7383 or by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
